The Fair Education Alliance would like to invite you to the Manchester launch of the Fair Education Alliance’s second report examining educational inequality across England, on Tuesday 14 June 2016.

The Fair Education Alliance was launched in June 2014 and is a coalition of over 55 of the UK’s leading organisations from business and the third sector. Its aim is to work towards ending the persistent achievement gap between young people from our poorest communities and their wealthier peers.

The Alliance’s second Report Card, released in April 2016, looks at where things currently stand across the five Fair Education Impact Goals: where we’ve made progress since the last report, where things are going well, and where there needs to be improvement. The report also investigates where there are pockets of best practice that should be scaled up, and where there are policy changes that need to happen.

The launch event will feature a keynote speech from Chancellor of the University of Manchester, Lemn Sissay, and a presentation of the Report Card by Fair Education Alliance Director, Lewis Iwu. There will also be a Q&A session with a panel including:
